Thanks to the gold sensor, this ORP probe is suitable for both chlorine dosing and swimming pools with salt electrolysis.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the standard BNC connector, \u00d812 mm and 3 metre cable, the ORP probe is compatible with brands such as Sugar Valley, Hayward, Zodiac, AstralPool, Bayrol, Hanna and Seko. Check that your device has a BNC input and accepts a 12 mm probe.<\/p>\n<p>All ORP probes and accessories: <a href=\"\/en-ie\/probes\/orp-probe\/\">swimming pool ORP probe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Calibrating and maintaining the NXG-ORP probe<\/h2>\n<p>Extend the quality of your ORP measurement and the service life by regularly calibrating and cleaning the ORP probe.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean the ORP probe before calibration. Remove deposits and dirt with <a href=\"\/en-ie\/buffer-solutions\/cleaning-solution\/\">cleaning solution<\/a> (max. 15 minutes). Then rinse. This keeps the measurement faster and more stable.<\/li>\n<li>Always store the ORP probe in the <a href=\"\/en-ie\/probe-protective-cap.html\">protective cap<\/a>, filled with <a href=\"\/en-ie\/buffer-solutions\/kcl-storage-solution\/\">KCl storage solution 3 mol\/l<\/a>. Never dry. Never in demineralised water.<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate the probe regularly with the correct ORP buffer solution. Most swimming pool controllers ask for <a href=\"\/en-ie\/buffer-solutions\/orp-buffer-solution\/orp-475mv\/\">475 mV<\/a>. Do not run the BNC cable right next to heavy power cables: the measuring signal is sensitive to interference. Salt crystals on the protective cap on delivery are normal: rinse them off with clean water.<\/p>\n<h2>Calibration not working?<\/h2>\n<p>If calibration does not work, first try fresh buffer solution. If the probe has been stored dry, first place it overnight in KCl storage solution 3 mol\/l. If it still does not work, replace the probe.<\/p>\n<p>Order the NXG-ORP gold probe BNC.
