The probe delivers stable and precise readings for a wide range of applications: swimming pool, aquarium, hydroponics, brewing, water treatment\u2026<\/p>\n<p>This pH probe is compatible with Sugar Valley, Hayward, Zodiac, AstralPool, Bayrol, Hanna, Milwaukee, Seko, Avady, Mettler, JBL and Bluelab, among others. Check that your device has a BNC input and accepts a 12 mm probe.<\/p>\n<h2>Maintaining and calibrating the NXG-PH probe<\/h2>\n<p>A pH electrode is a sensitive sensor. With the right care you extend its service life considerably.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always store the pH probe in the <a href=\"\/en-mt\/probe-protective-cap.html\">protective cap<\/a>, filled with <a href=\"\/en-mt\/buffer-solutions\/kcl-storage-solution\/\">KCl storage solution 3 mol\/l<\/a>. Never in demineralised water, never dry.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the pH probe with <a href=\"\/en-mt\/buffer-solutions\/cleaning-solution\/\">cleaning solution<\/a> to remove deposits, max. 15 minutes. Do this before you calibrate. Rinse afterwards.<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate the pH probe when you first use it and regularly after that. First <a href=\"\/en-mt\/buffer-solutions\/ph-buffer-solution\/ph-7\/\">pH 7<\/a>, then pH 4 or pH 10. Follow the manual of your meter or dosing system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Installing the NXG-PH probe<\/h2>\n<p>The NXG-PH is resistant up to 4 bar and 80 \u00b0C. Do not run the BNC cable right next to heavy power cables: the measuring signal is sensitive to interference. Salt crystals on the protective cap on delivery are normal: rinse them off with clean water.<\/p>\n<h2>Calibration not working?<\/h2>\n<p>If calibration does not work, first try fresh buffer solution. If the probe has been stored dry, first place it overnight in KCl storage solution 3 mol\/l. If it still does not work, replace the probe.<\/p>\n<p>Order the NXG-PH probe BNC.
