If the electrode is dirty, clean it first with <a href=\"\/en-mt\/buffer-solutions\/cleaning-solution\/\">cleaning solution<\/a>.<\/li><li>Pour a fresh dose of solution into a clean beaker. Do not put the probe into the bottle.<\/li><li>Preferably calibrate at 25 \u00b0C, or use a meter with automatic temperature compensation (ATC).<\/li><li>Put the meter into calibration mode, according to the manual of your meter, and immerse the electrode.<\/li><li>Wait until the value is stable and set 3000 ppm, or confirm that value.<\/li><li>Rinse the electrode after use and discard the used solution.
