Probes for pH, ORP and EC
Universal, reliable replacement probes for your pH, ORP or EC controller with standard BNC connection and 3 metre cable. They are suitable for swimming pool, aquarium, brewing, hydroponics, water treatment and more.
Do not forget to order the matching buffer solution. Every new probe must be calibrated before first use and regularly after that. Store the pH probe and ORP probe in KCl storage solution 3 mol/l, never in demineralised water. EC probes are usually stored dry. If dirty, clean with the special cleaning solution.
pH probe BNC 3 m
The pH probe is the basis for a reliable acidity measurement. With an accurate and stable measurement, this sensor is indispensable for swimming pool water, aquariums, hydroponics and brewing beer and wine. Standard BNC, Ø12 mm and 3 metre cable, compatible with most common controllers.

EC probe BNC 3 m
The EC probe measures electrical conductivity and therefore the total concentration of dissolved salts or nutrients. Indispensable in hydroponics, and for salt content in swimming pool and aquarium. Standard BNC, Ø12 mm and 3 metre cable.
Calibrating the pH probe and ORP probe: not working?
If calibration does not work, first try fresh buffer solution. If the probe has been stored dry, first place it overnight in KCl storage solution 3 mol/l. If it still does not work, replace the probe.
Installing the pH probe and ORP probe
The NXG-PH and NXG-ORP are resistant up to 4 bar and 80 °C. Do not run the BNC cable right next to heavy power cables: the measuring signal is sensitive to interference. Salt crystals on the protective cap for pH and ORP probe on delivery are normal: rinse them off with clean water.
