• Never calibrate directly in the bottle.
• Pour a small portion into a clean glass or beaker.
• For the calibration process itself, always read the manual of your pH probe, pH meter or dosing system carefully.
• Never pour used buffer solution back into the bottle.

When do you choose pH 9?

pH 9 buffer solution is often used as a third calibration point, instead of pH 10.01 or pH 9.18. pH 9.00 and pH 9.18 are two different setpoints.
