First rinse the ORP probe with clean water. If it is dirty, first clean it with cleaning solution.

Each time, pour a fresh dose from the 250 mV ORP buffer solution 250 ml into a clean beaker and calibrate in it. ORP buffer solution is corrosive: do not leave the ORP probe in it longer than necessary and rinse it thoroughly afterwards.
Storing 250 mV ORP buffer solution
Store the solution in its original, tightly closed packaging, cool and dry at 15–25 °C, protected from frost and direct sunlight, and away from strong acids or oxidising agents.

No, always store an ORP probe in KCl storage solution 3 mol/l for probes. Demineralised water may only be used for rinsing, never for storage.
