TDS calibration solution 3000 ppm for TDS meter
Meytec Premium Calibration Solution 3000 ppm is a reference solution with a fixed TDS value of 3000 ppm at 25 °C. With it you calibrate your TDS meter quickly and reliably. Sold as a pack of 5 bottles of 60 ml.
- For the calibration process itself, always read the manual of your meter.
- Pour a fresh dose into a clean beaker. Do not put the probe into the bottle.
- Never pour used calibration solution back into the bottle.

Use: calibrating a TDS meter
- Rinse the electrode with demineralised water and pat it dry. If the electrode is dirty, clean it first with cleaning solution.
- Pour a fresh dose of solution into a clean beaker. Do not put the probe into the bottle.
- Preferably calibrate at 25 °C, or use a meter with automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
- Put the meter into calibration mode, according to the manual of your meter, and immerse the electrode.
- Wait until the value is stable and set 3000 ppm, or confirm that value.
- Rinse the electrode after use and discard the used solution. Never pour it back into the bottle.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Never pour used solution back into the bottle.
Frequently asked questions
Can I also calibrate an EC meter with this?
Only if the meter calibrates in ppm with factor 0.5. If you calibrate in µS/cm, use a conductivity standard 1413 µS/cm 60 ml or conductivity standard 12880 µS/cm 60 ml.
Why does the label say 25 °C?
The value of 3000 ppm applies at 25 °C. At a different temperature the measurement deviates slightly, unless your meter compensates automatically (ATC).
